Lost task bar and icons

Hello,
Was trying to set up s-video to play from my laptop to TV.
something happened while in the display settings and now all
that shows on my laptop is the picture I put up as background.
My task bar and all icons missing, no way to access my laptop's
operting buttons, any advise on how to correct.

Try your function keys that switch video between internal and external screens. It looks like you still have the laptop set to display via the s-video port. It should be Fn + F3 (or F4 or F5 etc).
