Copy from pen drive to desktop screen

Hello,
i chose folder from pen drive right cliked selected copy option pasted it to desktop screen it showed zero byte copied when i saw the properties of that folder on desktop screen .why was it what is rigt method?

Dear Taklu,

This is the right method but if the specific file is in audio format, you will have to rip it.

Check clearly what is the format of the files and hence it will help us give you a clear answer.
