My Sims 2 Will Not Download

Hello,
I Have recently got a new computer its now a windows vista my old computer was windows XP, my sims 2 used to work on it but ive recently tried to download my sims 2 onto my new computer. It downloads then stops around 70% saying something about the sound not being able to work =S, so i click try again then it carries on going up in % then stops at 100% after asking me about the sound atleast 20 times in the meanwhile!!! When it eventually arrives at 100% it just stops and doesnt ask me anything else about istalling it. Is this something to do with my computer??
Please Help Its Driving Me Madd !!!!!!

use a download manager

it will download the full file with resume possibility

as well as faster also you can get it here:

umm
hi,
i have the same problem,
but the downoad maneger is for internet and im using a disk..
please help

did the download manager work for you?
because i have thesame problem but im using a disk.
