unable to update vista home edition Closed

Hello,
unable to upate vista, as told tried to register as told as below,

''Just go to C:\Windows\System32 and find and register Wups2.dll

To do that, right click on it and select 'Open With' then 'Choose Program' and find C:\Windows\System32\Regsvr32.

If you choose to 'Always use the selected program to open this kind of file' then all you will have to do is double click on any .dll to register it.
when i try to register Regsvr32  it says to register a module you must provide a binary number?
can you help?

Dear Sir, 

This could be resulting from missing system files

or still consider checking if you have a genuine copy.

Uninstall it and reinstall. This could allow you 

to update it then.
