Acer unable to switch between monitors

Hello,
I have an Acer and am unable to switch between monitors. There is no "graphics options/external monitor" available on right click and tried Fn F1-F12 (one and two clicks). HELP anyone please!
On right click Properties, Settings, I am able to select monitor 2, Apply & Save but when I go back in the system has switched back to monitor 1.
Am I missing something?
