Laptop trouble

Hello,
i have a laptop and i need to charge the battery up but i need to know if it can be done using a usb lead via another computer as i live out in yhe woods and only use the library at the moment for my computer needs.i do have a solar charger but its not good enough.can you get a lead that will plug into 1 computer to charge up my laptop??.im really not up on computers and when i go on other sites it all means nothing to me,it might as well be written in chinese!!.please help this technophobe!!.
