Volume hotkey won't work in acer aspire 7436z

Hello,
I just downgraded from Vista to XP and now my volume hotkeys won't work. Does anyone know how to fix this? I would really appreciate the help. Thanks!

Dear Sir,

Please try using them while you are using WMP. Normally they should work when you use it over there.

If still they don't work please assign the necessary commands to the keys.

With all this laugh i forgot to mention.
Re-Install the Launch Manager (available at Acer Support site) and then try again.99.9% everything will work smoothly.

Thanks Joe for the advice...my volume key works fine now...
I did re-install the Launch Manager weeks ago after I posted on
this forum :D
