Problem in sound system of my lappy

Hello,
I am unable to listen anything from my laptop as my system volume decreases suddenly on its own.What may be the problem and how to recover it.Is it a virus problem or anything else? I am using quick heal 10.00 free download version in my system.Help me out.

Dear Sushrita,

Please carry out a virus scan in order to confirm it. I will nevertheless ask you kindly to update your

anti virus software before doing it. Then remove it from your system in order to have the problem

fixed.
