need help with flashplayer dl Closed

Hello,
I am like many others that cannot get flashplayer to dl correctly.  It always says that it did dl but is never actually dl.  I have windows vista, does anyone know how to fix this, I have been trying for weeks to fix this and am at my witts end on this.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank You for reading this.

First of all, what browser do you use. Second, do you let the browser try to auto install, or do you go to adobe's page and get the setup directly? please reply if it helped or you need more help. more details could help, such as what you have tried already.
