Hello,

I recently installed sp3 and it was running fine for about a day or two. However, recently I reset my computer and got the message:

\windows\system32\config\system file is missing or corrupt and I should restart and press R to go into recovery mode.

I re-booted, and found out that my keyboard no longer works so I cannot press any keys. I tried different USB ports and also tried to attach it directly using the older style connection (forgot whats its called). I also tried a different keyboard.

The light that turns on signaling the keyboard is working is not lit so I am not able to enter recovery mode.

Here are my system specs:

-AMD Sempron 64 3500+, 2GIG DDR2 667 RAM, WD 160 HDD

Any suggestions on what to do?

Thanks!
