Stuck in applying final config

Hello,
have toshiba p205. Put recovery disc in and ran process. after seeing applying final config please wait, the screen goes blank and after hours stays blank. tried this 3 times.

clean the surface o your cd with a piece of cloth

as well as your memory stick and restart the process
