Logon vs bootup process

Hello,
I would like to know if logon and boot up process are the same?
What is a logon process?

Dear Sir,

Booting up and log on are two different tasks but essential

for accessing to the OS.

hi there,

logon is o access the database of the computer

like in a pc as soon as you enter the password you are logged in and can access all

and boot is to start the machine,load all the devices and operating and have access to the system

they are different from each other
