Portable hard drive problem

Hello,
need to get pictures videos from my portable hard drive that I forgot to ( remove safely on computer) and its want to format but i need my files i dont want to format is there any way that i can get my data of it before i format it....
PLEASE HELP

Dear Daniil,

This mispractice could have caused corrupted files or damaged the

external hard disk. You will be compelled to format it to see whether

it is still working.
