I had a horrible time trying to update/download from KIS Internet Security 2007 to KIS 2009 from their on-line store, ended up purchasing the package from a local vendor, installed it, and have been having an awful time with IE (8) ever since. VERY VERY slow to open webpages, IE 'not responding' reports coming up all the time etc.

am running Windows Vista Home Premium edition

Not sure if the problem is with IE8, KIS 2009 settings, or combination.

have already spent $100 trying to get problem 'fixed' at our local Staples (where pc and software were both purchased) - no improvement!

any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Dear Sir,

You could temporarily deactivate the firewalls while getting online.

This will solve the matter but it would be unadvisable. It will be

better to solve the matter by checking whether it comes from low

virtual memory and upgrading it by the below method:

Determining Ho Much RAM Memory and Virtual Memory You Require

Increasing Your Virtual Memory

Thank you.
