unable to run autorun.infClosed

Question

Hello,
i can't autorun the autorun.inf file  when i insert my pendrive.
for that i have coded 2 filesand saved it to pendrive like
1: autorun.inf
[autorun]
open=autorun.exe
icon=btyful.ico
label=hack it

i have also coded autorun.exe file errorless and able to run .

but the autorun.inf works for only "label" and "icon" not for the "autorun.exe"...

i have windows xp.

plz commit possible suggestions...

Dear Dhabu, 

I will be advising you to delete the specific file due to the fact that it may 

be corrupted. Then create another autorun.inf file. Please find the essential

Did you try to reformat your pen drive using windows and then try again ?

hi there,

remove it by following these steps:

press start >run>type regedit

browse to :HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\Microsoft\ Windows\CurrentVersion \Explorer\MountPoints2,

right click 'mountpoints2' and select 'permission'

click on 'Advance',uncheck 'inherit from parent the permission entries

 that apply to child objects.Include these with entries explicitly defined here'.

click 'remove' followed by yes and ok
