Setup win xp on laptop

Hello,
I want to setup window xp on my laptop.
I also did cmos setup and selected first boot from CD and then I closed with save.
When I restarted again my laptop not run from CD, it still run from Hard Disk.
I tried again and again but not efective.
So should I need to destroy window system first? or how can I do?

hi there,

if you made changes to bios and saved

it should boot from installation disc

recheck and be sure its saved with changes

or you can install it through usb if the drive is not good
