Hello,

I have a 3100 n100 lenovo laptop with the centrino duo processor.
the sysguard virus has attacked the administrative portion of the processor. i am assuming that my laptop is a partitioned harddrive? or is it actually two processors? i cannot issue the commands because the infection claims that all my files are infected. i
i cannot create the rescue and recovery cds from this partition because this is the slave processor and not the admin processor.

you should read the instruction at this site;
https://ezinearticles.com/?Remove-Sysguard---How-to-Conduct-a-Sysguard.exe-Removal-Procedure&id=2242313

There is no slave processor and no admin processor - just two processors on one computer chip. What you have is a user ID with or without admin authority.
SysGuard 2010 is one of the nasty scan rogue security software to hit the Internet. It is very difficult to remove from your system manually.
However, you can find here a good article about how to remove it from your computer.
