SYstem Restore Help 911...

Hello,

Please help me.... I have an emachine, Windows Xp with Microsoft Office 2007. Last night I was doing my coursework and a virus popped up on my screen called Security Tools. This little bug turned into a 6 hour nightmare. It went into my entire system. I tried pulling it out manually with Norton and it would not even allow me to pull up task manager. I found the number to it on the properties, tried to shut it down on task manager but the virus kept popping up. Frantic, I did a System Restore with the CD. I am so upset because all of my picture are gone, software, and ALL of my work from my college courses. I did the restore with back not with the destruction. I went in this morning with a fresh mind and tried to restore my computer to Monday. The restore point will not allow me to go back before today. Can you please help me? I have a 4 year old son and all his pictures for the last 4 years are on there and ALL of my coursework. Can someone please help ASAP?? Thank you for anything you can do..
