My line in in recording device is gone

Hello,
I have a problem my nephew deleted line in in my recording device and then i format it and then when i install my vista ultimate my line in are not installed can u help me plz can u teach how to return the line in in recording device

hi there,

you must install the driver for multimedia

use your driver cd or download it from manufacturer website
