Making telephone call from PC

Hello,
Somebody help me in making a telephone call from my pc. i have a 56k dial up modem, when i connect bsnl netone its gets connected to 46.6 kbps but when i make a call, the phone dialer shows connected but the call is not initiated... Kindly help me...

Please consider using one of the free calling tools

in the below list to see whether you can perform

the task then.

Hi Iveal,
thanx for the reply.. atlast i made a call using "phone dialer" still there is a problem. the problem is whatever i talk is received at the other end but i couldn't hear what they talk. Its in the half duplex mode i think. how do i change it to full duplex? also i have landline telephone connection...
