Keyboard & touchpad not working

Hello,
i have a unique problem:

first when i run windows xp on my laptop, keyboard and touchpad get disabled . but i can use my usb hid external mouse witout any problem.

however when i start system virus scan on laptop and when i log in windows safe mode everything works fine .

please sugest me solution.

hi there,

reinstalling the driver

or making a system restore will fix this issue

tried to reinstall drivers says it has most updated version yet keyboard and mouse still dont work and have bang mark in device manager
