Hph530 doesnt give out sound

Hello,
I have HP530 laptop It have window vista then I remove and put Window Xp,And I install all necesary Drivers but the problem is it doesnot give out sound while ita have sound drivers,What is the problem?

make sure sound drivers are correct for windows xp.
turn up the volume from control panel in windows
