VIRUS PROBLEM

Hello,
When I right click on my pen drive to use the 'explore' option the 'Autorun' and 'Open' options appear before it. Inspite of clicking on the 'explore' option the pen drive 'opens'. On formatting it too, the same problem occurs on reinserting it. All the other local hard drives 'explore' without any problem.I use Avast Home which is unable to detect any virus. I have tried deleting autorun.inf from cmd but 'no file found' message is displayed.What could be the problem? Simply, Ican't use the 'explore' option for my Pen drive.

ok do one thing format your pendrive by using manage option. for this right click on my computer go to manage then disk managment then just right click on your pendrive and select format. and folow the instruction. have you update your avast antivirus? if not update it

Tried it. But the same problem occurs on reinserting it. However the 'explore' option temporarily works alright immediately after formatting irreespective of the method. think the system is affected. Any other solution?

try to re-scan whole computer for virus. if it also dont work format the pc and install the system software again.
