Hello,
I added a 2nd HDD to my pc to give more storage space . At first , it was recognised by os on main Hdd but then it disappeared . I tried booting with main HDD disconnected to see if it would boot off second HDD and got dialogue boxes telling me there is no HDD. Prior to adding this HDD as a slave , booting off this instead of new HDD gave no problems . Booting up with new HDD connected only gives no problems either . If 2nd HDD is ok , how do I get 1st HDD and os to see it again ?
I would be grateful for any help , but , please keep advice in simple language as I am no techniciian.
Cheers to anyone who can help.
Jim

hello dear,
If your motherboard is via chipset then connect both harddisk on different cable and connect jumber of each hdd
If your motherboard is intel chipset or orginol then connect both hard disk on single cable.and in cmos you will disable the harddisk capacity on primary hard disk .
