Computer managment - recognized my disk

Hello,
I format my external drive (accidentally), I returned data with recover my files. but the only problem is what I can't view drive in my computer (I can not access the disk).
I turned it behind the box (there's always a work) and I have tried to engage to TV (there was working too,but now even TV can not recognize it)..
Problem must be in Computer managment. there is a disk, there was writting "unallocated"..but I was something clicking and konw is write free space of my disk ( which is 250 gb), but I still can't see him in my computers!

can I see my disk without formating!?

hi there,

you must right click on it and make new partition

then launch recovery software and recover files from that drive'

Hello,

I plugged my Western Digital external hard drive into my Playstation 3 and my Xbox 360 so I could stream my movies off of it. I went to plug it back into my computer, and now my computer no longer reads it :

Volume information for this disk cannot be found

Is there something I can do, some settings I can tweak somewhere where I can now use my external again on my computer. It still works with my 360 and PS3, just not my computer. Hello,

My external hard drive was working since I got it and I stored my work in it. today,I just plugged in my external harddrive will all my work!!!! to my computer and it said:

"Volume does not contain a recognized file system Please make sure that all required file system drivers are loaded and that the volume is not corrupt?

WHAT CAN I DO!!??! CAN I RECOVER THE FILES?? THANK YOU!

Additional Details
When I attemp to access, it says I have to format it...BUT IT HAS MY WORK...:'(
