Keyboard and mouse not working

Hello,
ive just bought a new computer my neighbour just did all the connections but he didnt test for it and now when i came back home my keyboard and mouse arent working seems as if not receiving any power anyone can help me please? because i cant install windows on it without the mouse and the keyboard. actually they are usb ones

hi there,

of course you wont be able to use it windows need the drivers for both the mouse and the keyboard and so try using a ps2 mouse and keyboard for the installation of windows and then plugging again your usb and installing correctly the drivers

hello dear,
This problem is create by your keyboard .First of all attach another keyboard and go cmos and then select advance option and press halt but keyboard.After the processing Usb keyboard also will work
