hi there,
well i dont think so its not the water underneath it which causes that. but tell me have you well wipe off the water on the laptop it could have damage some parts inside you never know. but the problem of the keyboard is not due to that the keyboard could have been old and need to be replaced but the problem is that its abit costly a keyboard for a laptop..
