I"m having exact same problem. I opened up computer to to clean up inside, made sure everything is pluged in right and stuff.... after a while some how it start all working fine! and then I plug some USB device ( an extra mouse) just to see that particular port was working, it disconnect every USB devices and when I re-start the computer CD and DVD drive wasn't detected either from the device manager....
I have no idea what I did before helped to function again.....
Now, I tried done everything I did before it start working,,,,, but no luck...
Everything else is working fine, but I need the printer which uses USB port for my home business....
I took a nap hoping everything is magically fine when I wake up, but it didn't work either....
Somebody help me please!!!
