Laptop wont power up

Hello,

Will the cmos battery cause a laptop not to turn on whatsoever?

hey there,

if the battery is down then it should light up but if you remove the battery and doesnt put it back on then it wont light up and you could even fry the motherboard but be cautious as what you have told me its a laptop and laptop repartions are much expensive

Does it matter what size or brand the cmos battery is to workin my laptop?
