Have i got a worm/virus in my comp?

Hello,
my laptop keeps cutting off when im in the middle of doing something,can some1 help?
I dont think it has anything to do with my cpu fan as this just fixed by toshiba abt 2-3months ago. there doesnt seem to be any other problem than it cutting off, i have done a AVG9 scan and it found nothing,could some1 plz help me?

hi there,

Its not always virus which cause this,when lts turned off by itself is it at normal temperature or the temperature has increased and its extremely hot?please give more information.

Also while using laptop you must let the airflow bay free under the cooler fan to let air circulate,blocking it will make the temperature rise and will end up by switching off ,specially keeping it on bed.
