Hello Ambucias, you seem like everyone's Dr. Fix; thanks for your time. Looks like visa/mastercard could do with your help re. attacks from Wikileaks supporters!
I tried to follow your instructions; I don't know if XP2002 is the problem; Couldn't get pcflank on Mozilla or Explorer. Kioskea ran for 50 mins (read Time mag!); x3 registry items infected, probably my 3 new emails. Couldn't do a restore point properly as I don't have "system protection" in "properties".
Nor could I do anything with rkill when I clicked on it accept get a basic log saying "process terminated by rkill or while running". Maybe there's nothing to fix. Concerned I couldn't get pcflank atall; no page available??? or broken connection message, which wasn't the case. Anyhoo, don't know if you can help further but thanks so far...

TOO MANY COMPLAINTS? I've been hacked with addressess lifted and apparently sent during the night. These were old addresses that I rarely used if atall. I reset my password and security question. Less than two weeks later I lost all access to my account with the security Q changed. This has put a halt a lot of my life, unable to use anything; paypal, etc.
A blogger said she had to fill the Google complaint form in 10 times before she got recovery; so I filled in the form 10 times. I got a repeated message saying that the form had had too many fills and try in few days! It's not just frustrating it's infuriating that Google have no better way of getting customers back their accounts. I am soooo out of love with google...

Dear Stung,
I suggest you open a new account with a slightly different user ID or again go to Hotmail.
Obviously your system has security leaks and and may be a very weak firewall.
Good luck

Thanks Ambucias, had done all that but valuable stuff on gmail, so will persevere with retrieval. A tekky suggested someone had taken over account and could read key strokes, and that's how they changed my password. What can I do to avoid this; any ideas may be appreciated.
Have to keep checking that Firewall is on as sometimes it goes off.
Stung.

Hello,
The tekky may be right, in such a case the hacker may have introduced a keylogger on your computer through an open port.
Why would your firewall go off, it should always be on.
To check your system for leaks, you can run this leak test. If you fail the test you can come back to me for advice.
http://www.pcflank.com/pcflankleaktest.htm
I would appreciate to know what antivirus you are using and what firewall.
In the meantime, to ensure you do not have any spyware:
Download, install and run Malwarebyte which you can find on this site:
https://ccm.net/downloads/security-and-maintenance/4621-malwarebytes-anti-malware/ es-anti-malware
Ensure you make an update.
Please request a FULL system scan, which may take from 20 minutes to hours. Do not interfere no matter how long in takes. The creators of Malwarebyte recommend that while the tool is running that you go do something else, such as watching a rerun of Gone with the Wind or read Tolstoy's War and Peace.
If Malwarebyte restarts your system, launch it again to finish the Full scan.
When the scan is completed, delete all items found.
Once your computer is clean and working normally just to be on the safe side
*Turn off system restore and wait 30 seconds,
*Turn it back on and create a new restore point.
This way it gets rid of anything bad that might have gotten saved in a restore point and you have a clean restore point to use in the near future if needed.
Do not turn it off until your computer is clean and working normally because you might need to use it if something goes wrong during the clean-up process.
It is better to go back to an infected restore point if something goes wrong then to not be able to undo changes that were damaging.

Thanks Ambucias; will do all that. On a new laptop now but a malware prog did find over 300 items, fixing 3 and wanting $49 to fix rest! A BT ZoneAlarm ran but seemed to cause problems with other programmes so removed.
I've Windows AVG antivirus and Windows Firewall.
Will carry out your suggestions. Thanks again.

Hello Stung
You got stung allright. That program which wanted money is a fake programme, a scam to get to your credit card.
It may be still on your computer and it is very vicious and cause a lot of damages. It is a rogue trojan horse.
Please follow the following procedure carefully and to the letter.
You have a rogue virus Trojan Horse which is self protective, thus it will prevent any antivirus from fonctionning.
You must kill the evil processes which the virus is presently running amd preventing you from running any antivirus. If you don't it will keep reproducing the files for ever.
To kill the processes:
1. Download to your desktop and run Rogue Kill:
https://download.bleepingcomputer.com/grinler/rkill.com
2. You should now see a window that shows all of your desktop icons, including the rkill.com program.
3. Double-click on the rkill.com in order to automatically attempt to stop any processes associated with the Rogue programs. Please be patient while the program looks for various malware programs and ends them. When it has finished, the black window will automatically close and you can continue with the next step.
If you get a message that rkill is an infection, do not be concerned. This message is just a fake warning given by the Horse when it terminates programs that may potentially remove it. If you run into these infections warnings that close Rkill, a trick is to leave the warning on the screen and then run Rkill again. By not closing the warning, this typically will allow you to bypass the malware trying to protect itself so that rkill can terminate the processes . So, please try running Rkill until malware is no longer running.
As a matter of a fact, if you get messages, it is a sign that the virus is agonizing with excrutiating pain, so you can just grin while it is suffering!:)))
Please, DO NOT REBOOT your computer or the processes will come back to haunt you!
Download to your desktop Malwarebyte.
https://ccm.net/downloads/security-and-maintenance/4621-malwarebytes-anti-malware/
Once on your desktop, we must still outwit the virus.
Right click on the MBAM icon and click on rename. Rename it kioskea.exe.
Install Malwarebyte and launch it. From the second tab, update it.
Pretty please, request a FULL system scan which should take more than hour. Once the scan is finish, delete all of item that were found.
Let me know but follow my instructions and don't miss any steps
Regards

Hello Stung,
I try my best.
When I read that you were a rogue trojan horse victim, I immediatly sent you a second set of instructions. Please follow them, the ones with RKill.
If after the operation with rkill, the one of 8:50 of December 8, your system still shows malicious behaviours, let me know and I will send you a diagnostic tool that will give me all the information on the damage.
Regards
P.S. Do not mention credit card names on this forum. I had to retrieve your post from the dump.
