Hello,
I may want to borrow my friends iPod Shuffle and just got a new HP laptop which has Windows 7. Will the two be compatible?

Hi there,

You will have to install latest itunes on the laptop to be able to use it.Its available on link below from official Apple website for download:

https://www.apple.com/itunes/

You will not be able to COPY the contents of the iPod using Apple software and any attempt to SYNC the two will result in the iPod getting erased. If you want to copy the songs then you will need to use a 3rd party program.
