Audio driver is not working in Crystal XP

Hello, Friends,
does any one know how can i play a sound in Crystal XP i have got SP 2 and when i ll go to sound property then that all tabs are disable so i cant change any property or anything i have got TOSHIBA laptop 1.6 GHz and 1 GB RAM i have been trying this since last 4 days... :( if anyone know the perfect solution will you help me please.. :)

U must install ur audio card.
