Limited or no connectivity

Hello,i have got a pc and a laptop and wanted to play lan games. I tried to connect both directly by using a cross cable but it does not work and both machine shows limited or no connectivity.what should i do to connect them and play games?

Hi there,

You cannot play it while connected by cross cable,you need to be connected by straight cable and that also connected to a switch/modem or router since you will have to create server and host the game.

thanx.. but are switch or hubs costly?
