Can't run yahoo messenger installation

Hello,
I'm having a problem with my messenger, i just reinstalled my windows and tried to instal yahoo messenger
but after I try to install the program (...exe) but nothing happens, the firewall is off, there's mnothing open in task manager and it does that at every version of yahoo messenger I downloaded, please help, thank you in advance...
