MSN Vista to Vista Remote Assistance Issues Closed

Hello,

I'm trying to help my friend with a new painting software through Remote Assistance on MSN. Both my friend and I have Vistas, have allowed Remote Assistance and etcetera through Windows firewall. But whenever we try to do remote assistance, the error comes up and says: "Could not connect; maybe the other person canceled connection." Neither of us canceled. Help??
