xp restart loop Closed

Question

Hello,
my computer starts to come up and gets to the xp screen then restarts
have tried all options in the safe mode ,f8 etc.  it will start to go in to safe mode then it restarts 
what can i do to fix it 
i nead my files and dont want to erase the drive.
please help

Hello, You can try to boot from your windows cd and repair the thing, or else you must format !

Somehow, upgrading to xp sp3 trigged this problem.  My case was I removed downgrade to xp sp2 and removed wireless Linksys PCI adapter.

Give it a try.
