Wont boot up Closed

Hello,
I bought my nephew an Acer netbook for Xmas and he says he turned it off while it was installing updates and now it wont boot up!! It only displays the message"windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: System32\Drivers\Ntfs.sys

You can attempt to repair this file by starting Windows Setup using the original Setup Cd-rom.
select 'r' at the first screen to start repair

Alt+f10 does not work and there is no cd drive.
