Even I faced the same issue, but I have resolved this. Please find the details of how to do it:

For my system its HCL K21 (21 Series). If yours is also the same, use the below direct link to download the files:

http://hclsupportservice.in/DriversDisplay.jsp?val=Tm90ZWJvb2s=&prodC=TGVhcHRvcA==&prodM=Series%2021

If not:  go to - http://hclsupportservice.in, select download drivers, select NoteBook and Laptop and the series you are using from the drop down below. You will be directed to the download page (mentioned above for 21 series).

1st: Select u r OS and download "High Definition Audio Patch" and install.
2nd: Download "Audio" and install. Restart the comp and you are ready to use.
