Sharing internet using crossover cable

Hello,
I am having 2 laptops. One with microsoft vista as OS has wireless card , and other with microsoft XP as OS does not have wireless card. Both of them have lan] cards (NIP). I have wireless internet connection at home. I want to share internet connection on the XP laptop from my Vista Laptop. I have a crossover lan cable. can any one help

Ok , I connected the Crossover cable, and shared my wireless lan connection with my local area connection. Now it is said that I have to select obtain IP address dynamically. I did that on my vista laptop. But what will be the IP address on my XP laptop.
