Hello,
why do we need two addresses,IP address and MAC address?

MAC address is the unique address given to your Hardware modem or network address. The IP address may be fixed or it may be assigned by your router of ISP.

thnx....but can u plz giv me some more info about it?my Question was actually that why these two addresses are integral?why can't we use one single address to send and receive our packets?either MAC or IP?
