Trojan Vuris got rid of everything on laptop

Hello,

I was downloading movies in Bit torrent and downloaded Spyware/ Malware Trojan Virus. Over a period of 2 days, it wiped eveything on my laptop.

When I turn on my computer, After the widows Vista Icon come up, all I get is my desktop wall paper- there is no desktop, no icons, no start panel, I can't right click, No windows Tak Manager- Nothing is left on there, it wont even play movies.

Will I will able to re-load Windows again and If windows reload, will the virus still be on there?

Any help would be great.
