Can date be merged in this format like "February 03, 2010" or "January 03, 2010" or "March 03, 2010"???

got it. following format code will resolve my problem.
\@"MMMM dd, yyyy"

click on the date merged field on the document
then right click and click on toggle the field code
then after the field name, add the formatting in this format \@"dd-MMM-yyyy" or what ever format you want
