Start Excel
Go to menu and choose file but dont click on open
there is drop down next to open, click on that
and then click on "open and repair"
See what you can salvage

I got the file. Since I dont know what the original file looked like, I gave you they way you can try to see what it gives you. Follow the steps above. Let me repeat.
Start Excel
Go to menu and choose open
select the file (BUT DO NOT OPEN, SO DONT DOUBLE CLICK)
there is a drop down next to open, click on that and choose "OPEN AND REPAIR"
