Firefox not loading when explorer.exe running Closed

Hello,
 I recently installed SP3 and after installing it, my internet becomes a "limited connection" after almost exactly 24. So, I uninstalled SP3, and now when I try to run firefox, it won't load pages, it just does about:blank, unless I close explorer.exe, and then it loads the pages fine. Anyone have any idea on how to fix either of these problems?

I used Spybot search & destroy, and it comes up clean. I did the SDfix, and I've run out of ideas/hints. If you need any system information, just ask me, and I'll do my best to provide it.

hey there,

can you tell me if other programs like msn messenger is getting connection to the internet?

if yes then may be some malwares or spywares are blocking access and i would suggest that you download a software called superantispyware from www.superantispyware.com and after that just do a scan after that

I use MSN messenger, so that may be it. 

But I've noticed if I open task manager, and close explorer.exe, and firefox.exe, then open firefox, and open explorer, firefox will work fine. It's just if explorer.exe is open first, it doesn't work. Could my explorer.exe be corrupt?
