Macro for copying info from Worksheet 1 to 2

Hello,
Could someone please help me!! I have a client list on Worksheet 2 and I need certain client info copied to Worksheet 1. I would like to mark clients that need to be copied as 1,2,3,4...etc as I have visited them. Then need to send report as per Worksheet 1. Can & how do I use the =IF command to do this? Or can you suggest some other way.

Really appreciate some help.

in the spread sheet you cannot have a formula
if so and so do this

what you need is a sub routine (vba). are you familiar with vba.

also post the column in which the criteria for copying to another sheet and what is the criteria.
preferably post a very small poriton of your data and also how the result should be
