Hello,
I'm afraid I am a real ignoramus re all things computer ! I will be working as a live in carer, frequently on the move in the UK, and want a laptop I can take with me. Many clients wont have an internet connection but I remember one carer telling me she can still use her laptop. What sort of computer should I be asking for ??

You can buy a USB adapter for Broadband Wi-Fi that will allow your laptop to connect to the Internet like a Smartphone. This UK web site lists those services for the UK.

There are also some providers that include a free netbook with the Broadband subscription. Check them out at this site:

Good Luck
