Internet connection help

Hello,

my neighbor has a secure wireless wifi router. he gave me his network key, but i just cant seem to get it to connect to him. i have about three different networks that pick up but his is the only one with a strong signal. I am on a toshiba with xp. any suggestions?

Why don't you take you computer to his house and have him input the key? If you have the right SSID name then it's probably a problem with the key.

Maybe the key is not correct, here is typical way to configure wireless adapter in Windows Vista and XP, probably you can take a look.
