Compaq Presario v5210 is typing numbers instead of letter

Hello,
I have a problem with my compaq presario v5210us windows XP. For example when i type the letter j get a 1 letter k will give me a 2. I always have to press the Fn key in order to type the letters on the left side of my keyboard. Can someone please help? Thank You

You have turned on the NumLock feature. Find the function key marked NumLck and press it at the same time as the Fn (function key).
