Hotmail won't open PowerPoint files

Hello,

My mom has been having trouble opening PowerPoint attachments she receives through Hotmail. She has to save the PP file to the computer in order to open it. She only has PP Viewer 07, could this be the problem? Since the computer in question is a netbook I decided not to install PP. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

viewer is supposed to open the file. Could file be the corrupt (during upload or download). See if you can download on a pc with PP installed and open it. Also is there any error message you get ?
